Privacy Policy
What Sharply collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to get it deleted. Written to describe what the software actually does.

3 sections still need review by a qualified lawyer — they are marked below. Sharply is not yet incorporated, so the operating entity, the governing law, and how far liability can be limited are not settled. This document is written to describe the product accurately; it is not legal advice and generated text does not by itself make a clause enforceable.
1.The short version
We collect what we need to run the product and nothing for advertising. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, and no cross-site trackers — there are none in the application.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Screenshots you upload are processed and then discarded; they are not stored in our database.
2.What we collect
We collect the following, and only for the purposes described:
- Account data — your email address, and an account identifier. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and basic profile identifier from them; we never receive your password.
- Bets and markets you submit — the question, link, or screenshot you ask us to analyse.
- Analyses we produce — the market matched, prices, probability, edge, evidence, sources, and the written report.
- Product data you create — watchlists, parlays, paper-trading positions and orders, traders you follow, copy-trading settings, notification preferences, and saved preferences.
- Billing data — your subscription status, plan, renewal date, and a Stripe customer identifier. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Technical data — your IP address is used transiently, in memory, to rate-limit abuse of the free analysis. It is not written to our database.
- Communications — messages you send us, and cancellation feedback if you choose to give it.
3.Screenshots and uploaded images
This is worth stating precisely. When you upload a bet slip, the image is held in server memory only for as long as it takes to process, and is transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) so the bet can be read. It is not written to our database and is not retained after the run.
What we do keep is the information extracted from it — the market, the selection, the odds, the platform — because that is the analysis you asked for.
Do not upload images containing information you do not want processed, such as your account numbers, balances, or another person's details. Crop the slip if in doubt.
4.Why we process it, and on what basis
Needs legal review
We process your data to provide and secure the service, to run the analyses you request, to take payment, to communicate with you about your account, and to comply with law.
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (providing the service you subscribed to), legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and preventing abuse), consent (where you opt in to notifications), and legal obligation (records we are required to keep).
7.International transfers
Needs legal review
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The specific transfer mechanism for your jurisdiction should be confirmed with counsel.
8.How long we keep it
We keep your account and the analyses you have run for as long as your account exists, so your history and accuracy record remain available to you.
Uploaded screenshots are not retained after processing. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and product data as described below.
9.Deleting your account and your data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your account, your analyses, watchlists, parlays, paper-trading records, follows, copy-trading settings, notification preferences, and stored preferences.
Two things survive deletion, and we are explicit about why: an active subscription must be cancelled through billing so you are not charged again, and we retain the minimum billing records required by tax and accounting law. Deletion cannot be undone.
You can also export your data from Settings before deleting.
10.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Exercise any of these by emailing teamsharply@gmail.com, or use the export and delete controls in Settings. We do not charge for these requests and we will not treat you differently for making one.
11.Children
The service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has given us data, contact teamsharply@gmail.com and we will delete it.
12.Security
We use encryption in transit, authentication managed by a specialist provider, and access controls that scope every record to its owner. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the product or by email before they take effect, and the date below always reflects the current version.
14.Contact
